Central Lakes Arts Support Scheme (CLASS)
The Central Lakes Arts Support Scheme provides funding for arts projects across the Central Lakes region.
Central Lakes Trust (CLT) allocates funding to four local community arts councils, who administer and distribute up to $2,500 per applicant, per year on CLT's behalf. Creative Queenstown administers this scheme for the Queenstown area, covering the Wakatipu and Arrowtown Wards.
CLASS supports non-profit organisations and community groups with a charitable purpose whose projects promote wellbeing through the arts, increase participation and diversity in the arts locally, and strengthen the local arts sector.
"Arts" is defined broadly and includes language, arts and literature, performing arts, and visual arts.

Applications are open monthly, closing on the 15th of each month.
Creative Communities Scheme (CCS)
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) works to strengthen the local arts community across the Queenstown Lakes District. It's administered by Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) and open to anyone wanting to deliver an arts-based project in the district — individuals, groups, and organisations alike.
To be funded, a project needs to do at least one of the following: encourage participation by creating opportunities for local communities to engage with the arts, support the diverse artistic and cultural traditions of local communities, or enable young people (under 18) to engage with and participate in the arts.
